Robert Guerrero vs James Kirkland, your thoughts?

Who else wouldn't want to see this world war 3 matchup? With their styles and punch volume + power, it could easily be FOTY. The crazy thing about both of them is their determination to win. Kirkland will wait out a storm to land his own punches and Guerrero has too much pride to get bullied.
    It's a 50/50 in my eyes.

That is a good fight... If It lasts that long.
No idea who would win it but I think I'd favour Kirkland, Robert hasn't been hit as hard by someone like JK.

What next Guerrero vs Marco Huck?

He is not a big welterweight by any means and you want him to fight a guy a brute who walks around near 180?

Weird match-up. Guerrero is hardly even a welterweight and Kirkland is at middleweight now I believe.

Hey, as long as they weigh in at the same weight, who gives a f**k. They sign a contract, they agree to the weight. As a boxer, their job is to make weight. It's their job, just like everyone else has a job and tries to do their best at work.

They want Thurman to step up and fight Lara so maybe they should take their own advice.

I wanna see Guerrero vs. Wlad I think it might be competitive for the first 10 seconds.

I give a ****. The sport is brutal enough without fighters taking on others that are naturally 30lbs bigger than them.

You seen the issues Kamegai caused with his style and natural strength now imagine a guy far bigger, stronger, harder hitting and relentless. He would end up seriously hurt especially with his style. It wasn't that many years back Guerrero was at super featherweight.

It would be a good fight while it lasted. I don't think either fighter is very good. I doubt Guerrero will ever again be a world champion and Kirkland never has been or will be a world champion. Kirkland is much bigger. At 147 Guerrero looks fat to me for a pro boxer. I think Guerrero would do better at 135 or 140. Guerrero is an aggressive fighter and not hard to hit. Kirkland should be able to hurt him and finish him off. If these two were the same size then Guerrero would win.
