He's awesome but I can't imagine a scenario where he'll become a PPV star; no English, little personality and fights in the smaller weight classes. However, he might become a big star in Europe (more than he already is), where he should really be fighting not in some half-empty venue in Cali. Plus he has a great shot at being a top P4P fighter.

I dunno, his future is still up in the air. He has skills, is a good lookin chap but needs to learn English and up his work rate to be a contender for PPV status. People have to know what they're buying, with Pacquiao it's explosive fighting ability, with mayweather it's the fact that he's a prick, with heavyweights it's often their power.

            With Loma...who knows?

Too much focus on English and image in this thread, Pacquiao couldn't speak a lick when he was doing bigger numbers.

Imo it's just about whether Lomachenko is exciting enough, and in a high enough weight class. I don't think he ticks either box, at least not at this point.

Golovkin and Kovalev better bets at this point, everyone wants to see killers.

Unless he's got Pacquiao style weight climbing ability, no. The really small guys don't get PPVs, let alone become PPV stars.

If he moves to Germany or just Europe in general I think he could easily become a PPV star and increase his income.

I don't think he is boring to watch, I was on the edge of my seat the entire Loma vs Russel fight same said with the other two fights.
The kid is impressive and I can't wait to see him fight again.

It will be tough but it is possible. I don't think it will happen until he gets to 147 or maybe 140. At 126, 130 and 135, he'll be popular and have a solid loyal fanbase. There haven't been many PPV stars in boxing though.

Floyd and Manny became PPV stars after they fought Oscar. He won't have the benefit of fighting a huge name like that.

he's a terrific young fighter, but ther'e sno way in hell he becomes a ppv star.

a staple on HBO, sure, but ppv? very few fighters of that size have ever made it to ppv. morales and barrera [and pacquiao,] were hugely popular with mexican americans, who pony up the dough for ppv. loma doens't have that fanbase built in.

he's too small, speaks no english, and doesn't have the fanbase. it won't happen.
