Schaeffer was another one of Haymon's puppets. Hence him getting fighters on the GB roster without actually signing them to contracts. So I don't see how Schaeffer would be any different.

The ones not standing up to Haymon are Showtime and Espinoza. They're the ones who pay the fighters.

Yea why wouldn't he. Every one thought Danny was scared of Lucas and would never fight him. Lucas was Richards boy "next manny pacquiao". I'm sure Richard was mostly behind that one. Now Danny is getting protected cause oscar needs those haymon fighters

To all the expenses for the event including the fighters pay. Bottom line is neither HBO nor Showtime pay the fighters. And both have accepted some very crappy events this year.
