HBO has held two more cards than Showtime this year. Both networks have put on interesting and wack fights. Both have put on good match-ups on paper that didn't pan out so well. Also, both have had mismatches that turned out to be entertaining.

Will you do the same with HBO when Kovalev fights AGnew next?Comment

Your logic is flawed. Nice try.
Is Agnew a JMW or MW? Or is he actually in Kovalev's division? What other options does Kovalev have?
Sorry but the situation is nowhere near the same. HBO's programming > Showtime's programming. Oh and btw Kovalev already fought Agnew.Last edited by .:: JSFD26 ::.; 06-26-2014, 12:35 PM.Comment

Too bad you cancelled. Shotime is still giving us "boxing fans" the most fights per cards, the most stacked cards, and the best opportunity to see the prospects and up and coming fighters. Too bad. You are going to miss all the young fighters tomorrow, then you will miss Antoine Douglas on the 25th of July. Guess you want to be force fed Zou Shiming.http://www.sho.com/sho/sports/fights

Typical answer from a Floyd fanboy comparing apples and chicken.
Who do you want Kovalev fight that he doesn't want to fight? Who would duck Peterson and Garcia? Haymon fighters are ducks and fond of fighting laundromat workers.Comment

Just like the poster above, I only had Showtime for the boxing cause everything else on Showtime is ******ed. So if they arent delivering wtf am I gonna keep Showtime for? You want me to give them my hard earned for nothing in return? No thanks.
Even if HBO isnt delivering good fights at least they have the programming worth my damn money.Comment

me being a fan of floyd has no bearing here nor does you mentioning it derisively take away from the quality of the question. The poster dropped showtime because the card and fight are crap. I asked if he made the same decision when HBO put on a crap card.Comment

I didn't think the weight of the opponent caused the decision but the quality of the fight. Thats why I asked. If the decision to drop a network is based on crap cards surely HBO has put on several as bad as this.

And as far as HBO putting bad cards on goes, read my post above. If they arent delivering in boxing they deliver with the rest of their programming. Something I cant say about Showtime.Comment

Another **** post from you. Not surprised.

The card is crap on paper, no question about it. SHow and GBP deserve criticism for it and have gotten plenty of it here on NSB. I think show has had a decent year in terms of programming so far.Comment

Apples and chicken again. HBO don't rely on boxing to draw subscribers. They rely on their regular programming. Boxing is just bonus to their subscribers. In contrast, Showtime's regular programming is crap. I signed up for subscription to SHO because of boxing. Turned out it's a waste of money.Comment
