I see it the same way, well sort of. Wilder can win, but he will have to get it done quickly. If Stiverne gets out of the first round, I can see him timing Wilder and taking him out. Stiverne takes a round to warm up, but once he finds that groove I cannot see Wilder beating him and only see him getting cracked himself.

Feeling confident Stiverne stops Wilder if they fight.

Well, I'm here to tell ya'll that this fight is anything but a foregone conclusion and that Wilder isn't a hype job. Wilder is untested, has flaws, but he also has tremendous power, is in peak physical condition and has a 'killer instinct' that rivals a young George Foreman.

I'm not sure if Deontay wins this fight or not, but I do think he'll put in a good account of himself and not be 'exposed' like Seth Mitchell was against Chris Arreola
Wilder is a carefully constructed hype job a la Seth Mitchell, only Mitchell had at least beaten a couple decent names before the fall came, while Wilder has beaten no one at all of note: just a bunch of cans and a buddy who took a dive for him are all he's got on his resume.

We don't really know that he has "tremendous power" until he fights someone who can take a punch and/or isn't paid to take a dive. In a weird way, not-nearly-a-heavyweight Charlie Zelenoff proved his point against Wilder by taking numerous head shots and remaining able to not only get up, but to fight back against the big dolt. We also know that the one time he got "touched" on the chin by Harold Sconiers, Wilder was crawling around on the floor.

Wilder is also ******, which is not something I would call George Foreman. The guy is a obvious clown, and believes his own hype. No one with any brains or judgment would have fought a nut like Zelenoff in the first place. Charlie has called out Wlad lots of times: can you imagine Klitschko being ****** enough to actually take him up on a fight?

Stiverne is better than many people think, and as he says, the shot he hit Arreola with wasn't thrown well and wasn't that hard -- he was surprised Arreola was KO'd from it. He also doesn't always fight on the back foot -- that was his strategy for Arreola because he knew Arreola would be bulling forward as usual and eventually leave himself open. Stiverne may take a different approach to fighting Wilder.

Believe me, Humpty Dumpty Wilder is going to take a great fall when he gets cracked by Bermane, and all Al Haymon's men won't be able to put him back together again.....

If Wilder can fight at range, and not lunge in he will do well. Win, IDK.. If he does that usual lunging in ****, he is getting countered and kod.

              I agree.

Wilder has that extraordinary long reach, longer than the Klitschkos. He'll have no problem finding Stiverne when Bermane stands in the pocket or along the ropes. And Deontay has one-punch KO power...

Stiverne's only chance will be to be very aggressive, to come forward, because Wilder doesn't fight well going backwards. But Stiverne seems more comfortable waiting to counter-punch, and that's not going to work against Wilder.

              Prediction: Wilder wins by KO.

I said it from day 1 that David Price was no good but everyone was a mile up his arse because of the KOs. I'm also telling you that Wilder is ****, he's a knock out waiting to happen.

Wilder has beaten nobody. I repeat, NOBODY. Malik Scott took a dive, and he isn't any good anyway.

One-punch KO power over who? Saying that regarding the people he has beaten means absolutely nothing. As a previous poster said, David Price had "one-punch KO power" over a bunch of scrubs too. That means nothing.

Stiverne doesn't always fight on the counter -- that was the way to fight he decided to fight bull in a china shop Arreola, and it worked a treat.

Stiverne by devastating, career-ending KO over dumbass Wilder. First crack on the chin and Humpty Dumpty cracks into a million pieces.

And a lot of people on here are going to look pretty silly in the aftermath.

Meanwhile Wilder is landing huge and numerous shots on little Charlie Zelenoff and can't knock him out in the gym.

Deontay Wilder is a fictional creation, much like Seth Mitchell was. An Al Haymon fantasy. It's going to be hilarious when he gets cracked on the chin. Harold Sconiers had Wilder crawling around on the canvas after landing on him but it was late in the round or he would have gotten a KO.
Are you fracking kidding me!!! If Wilder's people hadn't pull him off the poor guy charlie would be died, and I am not exaggerating. Died not knock out.

Wilder seems sturdier and somewhat more athletic than David Price.

                      We'll see what happens.
