I agree for the most part, but I don't think Devon or Ghosts will get a chance (or another in respect to Robert)
To fight Floyd. Would be nice to see em all in a super 6 type tourney tho.

Alexander vs Guerrero would be more entertaining than what folks think. Imagine these two warriors throwing leather with all their might, bomb upon bomb crashing upon each others face, constant grappling and a few low blows here and there(unintentional of course), Guerrero's dad giving him useless advice between rounds in spanglish while doing his best cholo impersonation and Alexander hitting a spectacular falsetto between his devastating blows. A duel for the ages!!! until they realise they can't put each other to sleep with their plushy plush, extra soft, memory foam padded gloves...

Alexander is still a good fighter. I thought he showed more heart in his last fight than maybe any fight of his career. A fight with him and Thurman would be a good one.

This can't be!!! After all, Richard Schafer said all the top welterweights were ducking Thurman. Now, in a matter of days, both Guerrero and Alexander said they want to fight Thurman? Is it possible that Schafer was lying when he said all the top fighters were ducking Thurman? Is it possible that he was simply trying to protect Thurman the way he protected Alvarez and Deontay Wilder?

If Thurman ends up fighting a stiff that no one has ever heard of or who has lost 5 of his last 10 matches in his next fight (which I believe will happen) instead of Guerrero or Alexander, then everyone who thinks Thurman is a beast that no one wants to fight will know the truth.

Alexander vs Thurman sounds like a great matchup, should be an eliminator for sure. As others have said I don't think much of Alexander's style, but the guy isn't afraid to fight anybody, every time he looks for the best possible opponent. I respect that.

No, Schaefer wasn't lying. He was telling the truth and Guerrero is actually one of the many examples of that, seeing how he pulled out of a match with Thurman months ago. It's just that now a "top guy" like Alexander has finally stepped up and shows that he doesn't mind fighting Thurman, something hardly anybody else do.

Actually, the fact that Thurman would end up with a nobody instead of one of the top guys would just add more to the belief that he is being ducked.

With all due respect to Devon...and talking about 'great' matchups...how about a Thurman/Porter title fight? 12 rounds for Porter's belt! A boxing fan's recurring dream.

Thurman wants it, Ken Porter said they'd only fight Keith if the winner is guaranteed Floyd.

                      Thanks for the heads up.

I can't think of a more exciting opponent for Floyd than the winner of a Porter-Thurman matchup. Somebody's '0' would definitely have to go.
