Did Roy Jones Jr. have anything to add to boost himself up?

I think PBF is great - but I think moving up to 147 fo Mosley and DLH would be tough. Mosely realy was Sugar Shane at 147. It would be a great fight - but Mosely's power was huge at 147! It would be a great fight. DLH is really never impressed me with power and I don't see him out boxing PBF at 147 - but he would have a power edge - another great fight. Any of the Great players at 140 will have problems - including Tzu.

            re

To beat PBF you have to make him one-dimensional, that means you have to be a faster counter-puncher than him and let him lead, or you have to be a strong power-puncher that can cut off the ring and put alot of pressure on him.

Gatti doesnt do so good with boxers of Floyds caliber (he is too skilled)...he is much better with those that just come at him and wanna slug. I'd honestly rather him not fight him and keep his record from gaining any more losses. True there are others out there that can beat Gatti, but Floyd really seems to want him, and from the way he talked last night its all but a 'done deal' for this summer!

PBF wants gatti for two reasons, he's a big draw financially and has a huge fan base - it'll be a very high profile fight which Floyd wants for the second reason, he'll TKO Gatti and he wants everyone to see it. i too, think PBF is a bad move for Gatti, he's gonna get roughed up bad. Gatti has become a decent boxer puncher in the last few years but when he's trying to outbox PBF he's gonna get schooled and then TKO'd. if mayweather were to move up to 147, he'll lose most of his punching power but his speed and skills will still give his opponents massive problems. The best fight for PBF at 140, if he decides to stay ( i don't think he will ) is Kostya. KT is big and strong ( on fight night he'll be a junior middleweight ) and skilled enough to get to PBF's chin and check it.

Floyd will beat Gatti into pieces. He is faster, smarter, his reflexes are far superior and Gatti will be to tired and hurt to land the big punch late. As for Cotto he is to young right now but he has a chance. He will have lots of trouble with Floyds speed and will get hurt but does have the kind of body work that fight pay off. Hatton will lose. So, that brings it to Zoo. Thats the fight everyone wants to see and its the best matchup for both fighters.

Most of Mayweather's opponents are patsies... he's in gonna be in trouble at 140 if he stays... and he will be killed at 147...

And fighting Gatti... he might do a Marquez, price himself out...

His defense is incredible he bearly got hit the whole fight, he bearly broke a sweat! I think there no question who the pound 4 pound king is a far as skill and talent. The question is who can beat him from 140-154? You can bearly hit this guy! Would Tyzsu even be able to hit him in the head?

Tszyu can beat him, as well as Mosely, De La Hoya, almost any good fighter 147 to 154 because Floyd's power has already bottomed out at 140. He is immensely talented, but he is too small for those guys.
