Idk about ya but I'm getting a whole alhaymon vs golden boy promotion beef vibe so Im Rooting for the golden child in this ....and I'm going against all haymon fighters....(.except thurman) ...I think this is the MOST important fight of the year...

Ok lets look at this from Lara viewpoint. Lara whips Angulo TKO, only to get passed up for a Canelo fight in favor of the man he beat. Then is put in with Trout who he beats. And still he has to run up in Canelo press conference before he can finally get the fight with Canelo. Yes, he is acting butt hurt, cause his style is not what the "fight watchers" wanna see, but he is a talented boxer with real skill that GBP most likely didn't want to expose Canelo to yet.

So Canelo coming off his first career defeat should have been thrown in with Lara in his first fight back? And then we he lost everyone would have been screaming about how incompetent Golden Boy's matchmakers were to do that. Angulo was a confidence builder and now Lara gets his test.

This literally made me laugh. I hope De la Hoya's face is on camera when they announce Lara the winner. i wouldnt have done this fight. i would have given canelo a showcase fight maybe another matthew hatton level type opponent then wait for the winner of cotto vs sergio.

this is a very risky move on GBP's part.
