Lomachenko didn't win the fight Saturday night because he is so good. He won because Russell Jr. is so bad. The fact that Russell Jr. couldn't land 10 punches in any round tells me that he was never that good to begin with. If Lomachenko fights any of the other champions in the division, he will likely lose.

Top Rank knows this and is already starting to use the excuse that every promoter that wants to avoid putting a fighter in with a tough opponent uses -- the nobody is willing to fight him excuse. This is the same excuse that Richard Schafer used to protect Keith Thurman and Saul Alvarez. In his next three fights, the only fighters who will be willing to fight Lomachenko will be journeymen or washed up former champions.

Really? If I remember right, that was his weight days before their weight in. As we all knew, he has a hard time reducing for the fight because he stopped training for some months(so many outside distractions) but pretended that all is well. And Garcia even training him by long distance.

His promotional company Caribe said so if he had no other choice because no other champion was willing to fight him at 122 (since they scurred). It's still a maybe, but i still hope he clears out the minions at 122 before thinking of going up which is pretty ****** really he is 5'3 and is already built like a tank at 122 and only rehydrates to 128 on fight night, but if nobody wants to fight he has no choice but to put himself at even more of a disadvantage to get the fights.
