Even Adrien Broner admits Lomachenko is great. So Larry will too.

Loma is good but you can't call him great just yet, the guy has had 3 fights and lost one to a limited but large brawler at the weight.

Loma, even with his WBO title is far from a champion is probably ranks below Gradovic and Vetyeka imo and far below the elite of the division in Gonzalez, Mares and Donaire.

In terms of what I think he can achieve, I reckon he beats this version of Donaire and possibly beats Walters but doesn't yet get past Gonzalez or Mares. In fact Loma v Selby would be a great match up.

Thing is he never really said he's a fan.

Larry just thought GRJ was a lot better than he really is. The jury was still out on GRJ, nobody was really sure what he can do against solid competition. However, as Larry tends to do, he jumped the gun. I mean this is the same guy who thought Broner was gonna be the next fighter of the decade.

It still doesn't prove that Larry was/is a GRJ fan. Also, he gave props to Lomachenko and for contrast I'd like to see his posting history regarding Loma as this would give us a better indication of the issue at hand.
