I think he could win the Lineal. Give him a chance to make the fight. he's only had 3 or 9.

So you're not impressed by Verdejo, correct
did you even watch it? i saw it as it was airing. if you actually saw the fight you would know that it was a controversial decision (everyone knows that about lomo vs Verdejo) WTF

i had Verdejo beating lomo but if anything it was a close controversial fight (not debatable?) what!?........theres no way you saw that fight.

if i can find it again i will re score and post my rounds.

1- it was a vacant title against a guy who has never even faced a c class fighter

2- the man actually had 8 pro fight 9 after this one

3-great publicity stunt and smoke and mirror act but nothing impressive at all, not like he went and beat "THE CHAMP" he just won some vacant belt
Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins once fought for a vacant title.

What this win really means will be determined by what Lomacheo and Russell do after it.

Are you sure you're not confusing this fight with the semi-final between Lomachenko and Toledo? That fight was (slightly) controversial.

dude..............if anything lomo was awarded a gift. or BARELY eeked by Verdejo. i gave the fight to Verdejo. also Verdejo was damn near a teen when in my opinion he beat the already accomplished lomachenko.

the problem with you is you never actually watched the fight and are going strictly based on the W against Verdejo.

At the rate he is going, loma could be more battle-tested than the majority out there, happy camping for years fighting nobodys, waiting for easy paydays. Majority of them will be put to shame after loma do this successively for 10-15 fights. Then, due to wear and tear, he would retire sooner than later most probably.

The Lomo fans on NSB were a cricket parade when he lost I guess the hype is back? Russel was an OK fighter but let's not get carried away he was literally unproven coming into the fight.
