This fight makes too much sense right now. A win puts Devon right back in the mix at 147. A win for Thurman gives him his first win over a top welterweight.

Say what you want about Devon but he's been in the ring with Bradley, Matthysse and Maidana when he as an up and coming fighter.

I'd like to see this fight, but I think Alexander will probably end up fighting Khan next.

If it's one thing you can say bout Devon, he don't duck no one. People always hate on this guy, but then defend the (business) move fighter. I have loads of respect for Devon, I really do. He jumps out of the rain and into the ocean with no hesitation.

Well, when you're programmed to defend the (business), side of boxing, it becomes alien to accept those fighters that are willing to do what should be considered standard in the sport. So you hate what you cannot understand.

He completely shut out Maidana and squeaked out a decision (a very generous one at that) against Matthysse. Maidana and Matthysse are like NSB's love children.

I never wanted to see Alexander in a ring again after the Bradley fight. That **** was shameful almost as bad as Guerrero ducking a fight with Thurman. But Alexander's willingness to fight anyone in undeniable. He's won me over since that fight but I'm still not a fan, but I respect him as a fighter.
