How did you score Lomachenko v Russell?

Didn't really write anything down so I'll try my best to remember.

Lomachenko 117-111

Rounds 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,11,12

Other than round 6 (which I think Lomachenko still edged the round)they were all clear and definitive rounds for Loma IMO. A lot of flashy combos from Russell with nothing on them completely missing their target or being blocked. Loma showed great ring generalship and accurate punching. Foot movement, defense, and body punching was off the charts.

Rounds 7,8,9

I felt like Lomachenko completely took these rounds off and even if Russell didn't land anything significant these rounds could've gone in his favor simply out of aggression even if there was no effectiveness.

I wasnt sober enough to bother with a scorecard, but I was REALLY suprised by how in-control Lomachenko was.

Honestly, I was expecting Russell to give him a lot of problems, but Lomachenko was the one troubling Russell. I think Lomachenko was too big of a step up from the guys Russell had been fighting; he looked really bothered in there from round one on, he had no confidence.

Had it 10-2 Russell (Loma won rounds 5 and 12), he clearly threw more punches and outwork him

Lomachenko clearly won rounds 1,5,7, 10,11 and 12. That's 6 in the bank already.

I gave Gary rounds 4 and 8. But those were not clear cut rounds. I gave the rest to Lomachenko. Although even if I split the other 4 'close' rounds, Lomachenko still wins the fight 8-4.

I had it 10-2. At worst 8-4 for Lomachenko. It was a beautiful performance.

The main difference would be Algeri actually landed a huge percentage of his lighter punches not a paltry amount.

I had Loma winning 7-5...the rounds I thought he lost weren't even so much because Russell threw so much, but that Loma threw so little.

Lomo won 10 rounds plain and simple you can not score fights based on shoe shine arm punches that do not land.

If you know how to score a fight taking all criteria including ring generalship-defense-clean effective punching.

This was a lesson inflicted on Russell it was not close at all.
