Lomachenko asked to be rushed. He wouldntve signed with Top Rank if they didnt put him in title fights as soon as possible and it paid off, he now holds a belt.

This is correct ^. Loma only signed with Arum on condition that he got he the earliest available title fight. Loma didn't quite make the record - but hell he didn't fall far short either.

I was amongst those that thought he should wait - at least a while - also that beating GRJ (though I also believe that Russell has a future) doesn't reallly justify a strap. Nonetheless, Lomachenko is without doubt a major talent.
