GR is insanely skilled but the lack of power, at least tonight, was alarming. But yeah maybe he'll come back better from this. This just goes to show that being coddled ends up hurting you more than helping in the long run.

This fight was about Lomachenko being that good rather than a knock on Russell's abilities.

I don't care if he fought 23 cab drivers or 45 fight veterans. There is not a fighter in the world that can prepare you for Lomachenko.

Problem with Gary Russell was his **** competition.....

He was LOST at times when Lomachenko showed lateral movement. That was Lomas biggest weapon in there.

I still think Rigondeaux beats Loma, in a very boring fight.

Russell Jr will be fine but has work to do, he tries to show off his speed too much IMO and Loma did a great job just pushing him away and smothering his work every time he tried one of those Combos


He will bounce back easy and would beat most in his Division but Loma is the better and more well rounded fighter. Gary Jr might need to look into a new trainer, his dad was just getting upset with him, he was giving him **** advice
