His fans are all 100% concentrated on the World Cup, holding off to make a decision is the smartest move he can make. I can honestly see him taking a fight in Argentina as the last hoorah. But as far as competitive fights goes, hes shot, his knees are not there anymore. The 12th round with Chavez was the beginning of the end for Maravilla.Comment

I think he recovered physically from the first KD, but mentally conquered by Cotto the rests of the rounds! He needs considerable rests at this moment if he considers continuing his career. Then he should listen to his body if he has that something remains in his tank and of strong determination to compete elite fighters. If it just ego remains because of his lost to Cotto as the remaining factor driving him for a new match, then he should better retire, and that way fans remembered him more of his gallant stands and of his almost unblemished fights than remembering him of his lost to Cotto in his fading days..
