    What's the point ?
Nothing wrong with waiting till the World cup's over, it's absolute chaos over there during this time.
    Vamos Argentina!!!

Ha.Cotto would see what a middleweight left hook to the body looks like. Not even getting on his bike would save him cause GGG cuts off the ring.

As for the second comment Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Austin Trout beg to differ. Lets not count Margarito because of the plaster, but the other 3 fights he lost and they weren't even close. You embarrass PR ppl and true boxing fans.

Martinez just might have one more fight in him.

if martinez continues he should at least get a new physical trainer, like angel heredia or ariza, at his age he can't train the same way he always did

                Sergio - no mas

Sergio's camp is saying that he was hit with a "devastating blow" in the 1st. Please, give us a break. Sergio can't punch because he doesn't have balance on one leg. And, he can't get out of the way of punches for the same reason.
The fight with Cotto and his previous fight were sad spectacles.

They can blame it on the punch all they want but he actually came back and looked to be gaining traction to an extent and after the 6th rd, he faded into oblivion...balance was gone, speed was gone, power was gone, he was gone. If you are done from a single punch, you don't survive three KD's (only one was a semi-legit KD) and fight on for 8 more rounds, you get stopped the next round. His knees are toast, it's time to call it a day.

Maybe fight a low-level top 25 guy and retire on a win in Argentina but his days at the top p4p level are gone, sadly. He has had a great career and it has been a pleasure being a Martinez nuthugger but I would rather see him go out now than go out after losing 4 or 5 straight fights.....he deserves better than that.

I honestly think he'll fight again. He'll see how it goes for his next fight, and if he loses again, he'll finally call it quits.

I would like to believe that he's got one more in him and should try to retire with a "W". The real question is: Who would he fight and beat at this point in time? His knees are shot!
