Naw Max doesn't like it there, he's a pc prisoner these days, you hear him talking boxing on espn he's a different man with different views.....
Pre May vs Maidana on Sportsnation Wiley joked with Max that he's going to the fight, and asked why Max isn't going, he says oh yeah you on HBO and showtime show all the good fights, and Max smirked put his head down and sulked
Max the rebel is forced to be a puppet like lampley and it irks him, Max will eventually blow up and go off...................
For real. On ESPN he sounds more relaxed, comfortable, and in his office.
Does anyone remember when Max first came up? He was abit more arrogant and daring in his approach especially during post fight interviews then over the years he softened up and became all smiley and patient during interviews.
I remember watching a Rigondeaux fight, I think it was the Teon Kennedy one where they were both talking about his amateur record. Lampley brought up one record and then Max said it could also be another and Jim just got saucy as **** towards him. That's where I thought maybe things aren't that smooth between these two.
That face Lampley makes is quirk he has that he does to not cry, if anyone every met lampley in real life and spoke to him about pretty much anything he cries he is very emotional and almost every broadcast you can hear him clear his throat try and fight back against crying he's weird like that.
Lampley is a tosser. His indigestible nonsense makes boxing fans want to slap him in the face with a rotten fish.
The man needs to sort his bias out or leave because eventually people will switch off due to his garbage.
I totally agree . Lampley is so bias its annoying. Mr **** , **** , take that big boy irritates th F#ck outta me . He's such a pawn for HBO . Max is pretty bias too but he actually has some good insights on occasion and seems to be a genuine Boxing fan .
