He's not the one who should reaching across the aisle, he already done that plenty of times in 2008 and 2009 when Goldenboy wasn't on top and had to bow to Arum demands to make fights with Pacquiao or any other Top Rank based fighter at those times.

You fail with your whole way of thinking because right now you have to be thinking about the business aspect of things. Oscar shouldn't be trying to throw down barriers to someone that is losing and then putting himself and his company at risk. Bob Arum is burning a lot of bridges..

Goldenboy has been putting on the best fights, even now this weekend Russell Jr. and Lomachenko. This whole year actually was all Goldenboy, and that was when Haymon, Schaefer and even to some extent Mayweather making moves. Arum was the one who told people to boycott their events while he was using it to promote his own events. You think everyone should be singing kumbaya after all these years of Arum bashing you and acting like an *******? Oscar isn't trying to save boxing, he don't even know what he is doing.
You and me should give 3 fucks about the business side. Oscar was the better man and is extending his hand, to xi the sport. It doesn't matter who's to fault if somebody steps up and make it happens.

If you are solely blaming Arum you are a fool. Everybody is to fault for all this, and just to blame one part of the equation is fooling himself.
Like I said fans this days....

U ever heard the saying ignorance is bliss? I don't know why ppl think it's cool to be ignorant to how the world works. I'm not rooting for him to fail. But it was obvious to anyone with a brain things werent going to get better because of Oscar. U say that, it makes u a hater. No itvmajes u someone who knows better and doesn't get your hopes up. Things are the way they are, u don't have to accept it, but stop looking fir heroes where there are none. Oscar us no hero. This isn't a battle of good and evil. It's business. Being ignorant of that fact doesn't make u a better boxing fan. Sorry. No different from how ppl in this country are about politics.

Yeah I do want to see Manny Pacquiao fight that Haymon roster of talent that Goldenboy had but see unlike you I do not feel like we haven't been getting very good fights. Everytime Goldenboy made a card for the last two years, there have been many analytical conversations about those fights. Goldenboy built up a lot of guys, there stable was the best and most recognizable. Matching any of those fighter's together can make you forget about a desirable match up of anyone with Manny Pacquiao, who is declining as of late. Really who does Top Rank have, that people should be so desperate for Oscar to **** on his company's position like this? They are old, washed up, fought each other a bunch of times and/or haven't proven themselves. Top Rank only have the WBO belt and no other sanction body or champions. I have to give Bob Arum most of the blame because unlike everyone else, he was the one bashing people, talking about boycotts, and trashing venue's reputations as well as networks to promote himself and his company.

Stop thinking like a kid and grow up. Denouncing someone in the real world leads to many things not getting done because you are essentially spitting in someone's face. You are trying to protect your own interest and financial security while maligning the guy's own business as a way to insure you survive. Many nations went to war due to such tactics. Fact is I am not upset that Mayweather, Schaefer, and anyone else decides to not work with Bob Arum, I have been paying attention to how he operated since the joint partnerships GB try to do with Pacquiao.

Also how Arum use to be neck and neck with Don King and rode the waves of rumors that were surfacing about King to bury him and make himself as the premier promoter in boxing. Do people even know what the hell they are looking at? Grown men should understand that boxing will never die and that situations are going to get better but first things first, business must come correct first. Oscar came out and issued statements of respect and apologies to Arum, but since those times he did, you heard nothing from Arum with the same sentiment, instead you heard him talk about bs like Oscar isn't in control of his company, he needs to gain control, I don't need them but if he gets control then I work with them.

It's funny how people is blaming Schaefer and Haymon, but says nothing about an 80 year old man asking for boycotts of someone else's business. The old man that Oscar reached out to and he acting like he is Godfather and haven't expressed the same sentiments instead threw more wood to the fire, to which point Oscar's CEO left. You guys have a childish way of thinking if you believe Grown men should be kissing somebodies ass especially in the world of boxing and business.

Kinda sad really when take a step back and look at it from the outside in lol, grown ass men align loyalty to some entity they aint even seen in real life and get absolutely no benefit from and pray for Oscar to fail who in fact is just trying to make all the fights possible but no they still hate him cause tmt hates him lol.

These arent boxing fans and that how you can tell.

Him trying to get all promoters to co-promote and have their best fighters pinned against each other, making for the best fights and a better sport.

So why people what this BS " I wont work with so or so, cuz...." to continue, and want Haymon and or richard to gain tranction and farher ruin our sport?

Who cares if Oscar loses a bit of money while he tries to actually fix boxing.
                Thats what i've been saying.

Here we have Oscar, actually trying to make the best fights for US boxing fans. And all i hear from Mayweather/Haymon fans is wishing Oscar to fail.
It's very ******, we finally have a promotor who is listening to the fans, trying to make some of the best fights for OUR money, yet people give him the cold shoulder.

I mean if thats how fans want it, then why should the "Cold War" between promotors end if theres no difference.

Fans need to wake up. Only way we as fans benefit from all this is if they ALL work together. Only one has stepped up to the plate and thats Golden Boy Promotions. Everyone else wants to do their own thing.

Because they are not real fans of the sport. They are fans of this wealthy guy and they love everything and anyone associated with him. His friends are their friends. His enemies are their enemies. Look at me. I want to see Floyd collaborate with Schaefer and Haymon and make the fights fans want to see. Who cares about this cold war thing?

Broner vs Matthysse would be epic. Make it happen, Haymon.

I've never liked Oscar and I'm rooting against him. Im not going to list all the reasons except I think he's a fraud inside and outside of the ring and is more concerned with PR and his golden boy image then actual facts and reality.

I'm amazed how gullible fans are and can't see through the BS and his talk of everyone working together yeah in a ideal world that's nice but this is the real world.

it's just PR and its embarrassing that people Drink the kool aid and think Oscar is doing this for the betterment Of the sport and not because he doesn't have any options
