I don't think it is a problem between Oscar and Haymon at all, Oscar probably wants more of a commitment from fighters instead of them using GBP without being official signed to them

Haymon and Oscar are not "***ED" as some are suggest, they all have a lot of money already, the only ones that are ***ed in this situation are THE FANS. Last thing you need is a Gold War with Al Haymon as well especially considering the type of Roster he has the the talent he has

ONly think that will happen is that Showtime will act as the Promotion and instead of the Ring saying "Golden Boy Promotions" it will say "SHOWTIME BOXING" all over the Promotion bad and around the Ring

I would like to see Money Mayweather go full blast and compete with GBP and TR. With the millions of dollars he has in his bank account it would be very easy for him to hire Schaefer, invest some of his millions, gather all the Haymon fighters and start promoting them. The more promoters, the merrier for fans.

TMT can start with Broner vs Matthysse. Then Thurman vs Floyd, etc. Who needs Arum if you have all these fighters in your stable?

Correction, you cannot just fire your manager - period! Contracts have duration periods, unless a breach or the term is fulfilled. Mayweather promotions was only using GBP for Schaeffer's services, People on here need to do their research - Schaeffer is a investment banking wizard. He knows how to move $ , tax shelter etc. But the big thing with Schaeffer is he has access to the $$$ He got one of the wealthiest men in the world to be a financial backer to Golden Boy, look at the TV deals, the endorsement deals etc.. this happens through the day to day activities of your CEO.. Oscar is not privy to this sort of business, because he dedicated his life to the sport at an early age. To say Haymon will hurt his clients / fighters because now he has no TV dates is buffoonery - from a business stand point lets say from Showtime looking in, who would you do business with? A team who has all of the fighters, and actually put on good shows? Or a Owner who's team that put the company on the map just abandoned ship and he still does not have clarity on who is signed to him or not? Oh and don't forget the network has the relationship with Schaeffer because he was the go to person, he was the hands on guy with the business dealings. Business is never personal its just business, and both sides of the coin whether it be Haymon / Schaeffer or Golden boy moving forward with Showtime, both or all 3 en****** have to take care of their own investors / staff / fighters / interest - who ever brings the best stability to both sides of the equation the network will roll with - its not personal..
