what are u even trying to say its no different then floyd haters acting like every opponent floyd fights is the worst fighter in the world. Just watch if floyd dont fight maidana he will be "ducking" the fighter everyone says he cherry picked see how that works? but fact remains that guerrero would beat rios in my opinion rios is garbage and im actually of fan of him. I mean who has he beat alvarado then lost to him? the guy is a very entertaining fighter but hes not good at all and i believe guerrero beats him fairly easily honestly so whats your point?

According to Roach, although Pacquiao doesn't mind avenging his controversial loss to undefeated welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, in his opinion, there's not enough money to make the fight worth his star pupil's while. Instead, Roach would prefer having Pacquiao face someone that Floyd Mayweather just fought, like Robert Guerrero, in hopes of scoring a more impressive victory.

"[Robert] Guerrero has sparred with Manny many times and he thinks he gets the best of Manny. He's made that public before that he used to beat Manny up in sparring. I see it a different way, but I would love that fight and I think it's a great fight.

At least Garcia knows that Chaves is not an easy opponent. Still, he's looking too far ahead. This is natural welterweight here with power that's nothing to laugh at. I don't think Rios will want to eat those shots all night.

I think Thurman is already ready for the big dogs. He's just waiting for them to fight him.

EASY work for Tim Bradley. If this fight gets done, I'm putting C-notes on it; easy money. But, unfortunately, Chaves will beat Rios first & I don't see Tim fighting someone coming off a loss.

BTW Bradley - Algieri would be far more interesting
              This is so true.

Rios-Provo with Algieri-Bradley as the co-main event would be awesome!

I agree that thurman is ready but he needs to get his hands on a belt. Not for Tim to fight him just so he can have more pull and rank within the sport.

Rios had a very controversial win against Abril (LW), a TKO against Alvarado (Jr. WW), and then a loss to Alvarado (Jr. WW) just before he fought Manny in his (Rios) first fight at WW. Guerrero was definitely the better opponent for a Welterweight Championship fight.
You don't make a bad argument. But if Manny fought the Ghost..you'd be saying another plodding, come-forward fighter tailor made for Manny. To me both guys are tune up fights...Berto has been damaged goods and overhyped.

It's June 19 LOL? Wtf Floyd is fighting Sept. 13 and no announcement on an opponent yet...TF ...final presser will be at the weigh-in at this rate lol

Floyd must be trying to pay Maidana more money to wear those pillows again would be my guess as to the delay...

If Manny was fighting the Ghost, I would be happier than Manny fighting Chris Algeri or Danny Garcia. I got a funny feeling Floyd might be fighting Thurman next. Porter's people said they were in talks with Thurman, and Thurman backed out. I can't believe Thurman would back out from a Championship fight with Porter unless he's got something better (maybe Khan) coming.

...Where did you get that? The Thurman-Porter fight fell through because there wasn't enough money in the fight and that's what Shawn's dad said. Thurman has said that he doesn't mind fighting Porter.
