Comments Thread For: Garcia Would Like Rios To Get Bradley After Chaves

Trainer Robert Garcia believes that 'Bam Bam' Brandon Rios is far from finished and will showcase his skill on August 2 against Diego 'Joya' Chaves at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Rios (31-2-1, 23 KO) returns after a very rocky 2013, where he lost back to back decisions to Mike Alvarado and Manny Pacquiao, and saw his career suffer a nine month suspension for testing positive for a banned substance following the Pacquiao fight. Chaves (23-1, 19 KO) fought in February, where he recovered from his loss to Keith Thurman by knocking out Juan Godoy.

Rios needs to improve on cutting off the ring and using his jab if he wants to compete with Bradley. I haven't seen him do it well on a consistent basis.

Tim beats Rios very similar to how Pac did, but Chaves possibly stops Rios in his next fight, I know he got beat by Thurman but the guy has serious fight ending power in both hands.

He's out with bad intentions that boy and Rios can only take so many punishing shots until his resistance gives up.

We gotta see Bradley fight some of these GB fighters. How about Bradley/Thurman?

I'd rather a Bradley Guerrero clash at this point. Thurman needs to get that Porter fight out of the way first IMO. Then he could start taking on the big dogs.
