Lomachenko has have every advantage in the book. The problem is he leaves himself wide open coming in and GJR is a savage with short shots. Lomachenko opening up more is a huge disadvantage for him in my opinion.

They both get hypnotised when the opponent throws. Activity is key.

they dont get hypnotized, loma cant fight much inside and russell is a sharp shooter who picks his shots carefully. so does loma btw. you have a point, dont get me wrong. but you are exaggerating tremendously.

positioning will be the real key imo, we have two very well schooled fighters and they will both be fighting for foot positioning. which btw is another reason they tend to cover up under fire, they understand when they are out of position and choose not to engage when at a disadvantage.

both are lefties and southpaws dont like fighting other southpaws, who is able to adjust better is a big key and foot placement is vital as far as that goes. finally there is quite a difference in height, loma is taller and a great outside fighter so at range he will get the better of it. he has a lot of holes in his inside game however and russell throws brilliant short, compact punches from mid and short range. if he gets too close he will do some serious damage and neutralize loma in the process.

key will be footwork imo, which is why im giving an edge to lomachenko.

Loma should win this fight but boxing politics might rob him like Herrerra vs Garcia

Thats my only concern for this fight

It will be a short counter shot that Loma doesn't see that will put him down. He thinks, like many here, that he has all the advantages in this fight but GRJ's hand speed and crisp, accurate counter punching will shock him.
