Im giving him the benefit of the doubt cause I wanna say decent. Hes not a small FW either. When I see "heavy handed" I think Garcia or prime Juanma or even Ponce. As far as the Salido fight, I think him hurting Salido had more to do with fatigue than Lomachenko's power. Even tho Salido missed weight, its a fact that he struggled to make weight and putting on a buncha weight over night is NOT always a good thing.

EDIT: And as you pointed out, hes been dropped by lesser fighters and he has been in some beatings late in his career too.
Hmmm it's never too late for me to stand corrected. Thanks for your input, I will surely take further note of Vasyl before tagging him with "heavy hands". You're right about the proper placement of such a body shot being able to put any man down. Anyway thus far Garcia, JuanMa and Ponce are/was(referring to now retired Ponce) at different leagues in regards to power. Oh and those wars with JuanMa Lopez drained Salido so much… I'm surprised he is still able to compete at this level. Like you said, perhaps it was Salido's fatigue that aided Vasyl in achieving such an opportunity of hurting the bigger man on the 12th round. Oh and Salido did gain too much weight.. like he said, after fighting his whole career at featherweight, perhaps it's long overdue for him to move up.

Its all good man. We all have opinions. No shame in that. You also gotta remember (not sure if you ever heard), Salido had been complaining about struggling to make 126 for a while but opportunities arose so he took them. He even had soft touch at 130 who he stopped via body shots (I believe).

Im so hyped up for this fight, rooting for Russel, loving Lomachenko though but im not with this "getting title fight in his 3rd for the same title he fought & lost the fight before"-stuff, Arum needs to learn his lesson even though he unfortunately never learns

This is a 50/50 fight on paper, and I certainly wouldn't bet on it, but I think Lomachenko will take it. Russell has great handspeed, but who is to say what else he has since he's fought nobody. He's gone the distance with nobodies. I think Loma is far too experienced for handspeed alone to be a deciding factor here. He was fresher than Salido at the end of his first 12 round championship fight, and I think he might bring too much for a guy that's used to TBA level competition.

I wouldn't bet on it, but I think that Lomachenko is going to make a big statement.

Russell has the fastest hands in boxing. Yes, even faster than Amir Khan. Plus Im a little biased b/c Russell and I have the same name. His last name is my first name.... LOL
