every fighter has a weight and conditioning coach even mayweather even if he says he dont all fighters have someone its just the famous ones are the ones everyone thinks gives their fighters ped like memo and ariza. The good clean coaches no one has heard of.

funny, because if those good clean coaches was doing a great job, their fighters performance would speak for their work and they would be famous like u put it. how do u think ariza's name got put out there? ariza wasnt a big and famous s/c coach prior to hooking up with manny. it was manny's performance that made ariza. and it just goes to show that ariza wasnt giving manny anything special because if that was the case, rios and miadana would be on the same level as pac since ariza was their s/c coach.

completely agreed. like i said yesterday i believe ariza came on board with pac at the right time when manny was in his peak running down all his opponents and ariza just got credit for it. im sure ariza helped manny a little but it wasnt like pac's success came from alex.

I'm not sure exactly to what extent Ariza's methods benefited Maidana, but he did seem to have more stamina in the Mayweather fight than he did against Broner. True physical fitness and nutrition is a science; there are degree programs for them. Ariza does have a degree in Exercise and Nutritional Science from San Diego State University. I don't particularly like what I've seen of the guy's behavior, but I'll give him props for at least having an education in his craft and trade.
