It will help him if Chavez dominates rios.. But yeah to most level headed fans it won't matter, but there will be haters saying Thurman is a hype job if rios smashes Chavez..

That would be really silly if fans start thinking that. That's basically ignoring Thurman's next two matches after that.

Should be a good fight, but perhaps we're overestimating Chaves a bit? He looks good but what's his biggest accomplishment....giving Thurman (another unproven fighter) a good fight before getting stopped? I wouldn't be so quick to count Rios out as many seem to be doing already.

Well he was undefeated before the Thurman fight and he's still in his prime so who knows? He may have some new tricks next time (which could make for a dangerous fighter seeing that he already has some power). Rios is very limited compared to Thurman so this could make for a very even match unless one of them is better than when we last saw him.
