I may not always agree with everything Ward says in articles but he is a great fighter and a pretty damn good commentator so if his long career from the time he was a child has caught up to him mentally, it is what it is and he has to make choices for him. I'd like to see him take 2-3 top fights and then see where he is at but if his heart is not into it, he could get hurt eventually. I'll say this, he has never said anything de****able or done sick sht outside the ring or in trouble with the law. He is a really good man and I appreciate that.

No surprise here. Ward never struck me as the type of boxer to stay in the game for too long. For as long as I can remember Ward has always talked about his post-boxing life, even during the super six. Talking about how he loves commentating yada..yada
I guess it's smart to retire from the sport instead of letting the sport retire you.

He just trying to get attentiion, Him saying Froch is ridiculous, for one froch already fought him and 2 Froch has fought everybody available to him. Froch is a superstar and the money maker at 168. I he sells better than Ward in the USA. So either Ward gets his ass to the UK or he can retire a poor SOG.
By the way, I agree with the poster that says religious fighters think they are above everybody else, because they believe in the fairy tales and bull**** that religion brings. They think they are entitled to whatever they want.
So ****, Religion, and fuck Ward

The headline makes it seems as if he is talking about retiring and that is NOT THE CASE. He just entered his PRIME as a Pro Fighter, he is only at the very beginning of building a Legacy but Politics in boxing makes it hard for him
He picked the WRONG TEAM after winning the Gold Medal in the Olympics, I don't know why he went with J.Prince as his Manager and Goossen/Tutor as his Promoter
That decision is why right now his career is in neutral but I think eventually he will clear all of this up and his career will start to Roll again
