Yeah, I'd be inclined to agree. Most of his prime the past couple years was not utilized, and although other fighters have overcome that, the jury is still out on Ward.
Andre Ward: "If this is the end of my career, there's life after boxing!"

ward is the one who spontaneously mentioned the possibility of retiring. the interviewer didn't ask him "are you retiring?", the interviewer said "you must be desperate to get in the ring", then Ward says "i been boxing 20 years and done just about everything i wanted to do in the sport, if i had to walk away today its not ideal but im secure in my legacy, i can go off... there's life after boxing"The headline makes it seems as if he is talking about retiring and that is NOT THE CASE. He just entered his PRIME as a Pro Fighter, he is only at the very beginning of building a Legacy but Politics in boxing makes it hard for him
He picked the WRONG TEAM after winning the Gold Medal in the Olympics, I don't know why he went with J.Prince as his Manager and Goossen/Tutor as his Promoter
That decision is why right now his career is in neutral but I think eventually he will clear all of this up and his career will start to Roll again
so ward has definitely considered the possibility of retirement since he mentioned it without anyone specifically asking him..Comment
