LOL. act like a kid, get treated like one. good day now. and how can they talk at the negotiation table when floyd said he will never do business with arum? the ball is in floyd's court, pac has agreed to everything.
Maybe thats the part I had my volume too low. Use some sense dude. Like, maybe he turned up the volume and heard the testing part but missed the money part because he didnt have his volume up. Come on man, I know you are smarter than that. Yep, my volume was too low, then i turned it up. Pac has not agreed to everything, last they talked he turned down 40 million then said he would fight for free. Rejecting that does not sound like agreeing, but you say he agreed to everything.

“I’m not desperate to fight him just for the sake of money or material things. I’m not the one seeking this fight; rather it’s the boxing fans all over the world,” Pacquiao told the Inquirer on the phone.

Pacquiao said he was willing to fight Mayweather anytime, anywhere—even without a single centavo as prize money…

“Above all, I challenge him to include in our fight contract that both of us will not receive anything out of this fight. We will donate all the proceeds from the fight—guaranteed prize, should there be any, gate receipts, pay-per-view and endorsements—to charities around the world.”

Pacquiao said Mayweather should agree to such a fight—if the American was not afraid to meet him…

“I have carved my own niche in the annals of boxing,” the Filipino champ said. “There’s no reason why I should be desperate to fight him. But since boxing fans worldwide are seeking and demanding a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, I don’t want to disappoint them.”

        Wtf kinda logic is this?

Are they even boxing fans? Every other boxing fan wants the best fights possible except for the Floyd diehards.

I agree 100% with that. I noticed that too. And they the ones who really don't want a Pac fight saying Pac fight doesn't mean nothing anymore. They were so happy when Pac got KTFO. Happier than JMM fan, like Floyd did it. They so happy that this cold war exist. Im not saying all of Floyd fans but real Floyd groupies. The ones that believe and takes everything Floyd says for granted. This cold war is some of the worst thing that happened in the history of boxing and still some people don't want it to end ASAP. Thats just sad

It's quite silly to act as if this isn't the case.
actually no, i've been hearing from the pac fans that they want manny to fight floyd. as for the floyd fans they're happy with whatever floyd chooses to do. find me a post where a TR, bob arum, hbo fan is saying hell yeah arum is not gonna work with gbp or schaeffer and haymon, way to go arum! for example the gbp and oscar's beef. pac fans is actually saying this is good now we might get to see tr fighters fight with gbp fighters. as for the floyd fans all u get from them is haha oscar is left with no fighters, TR and bob is running out of opponents, schaeffer and haymon is the future.

After Pac/Arum accepted Floyd's terms of drug testing and taking less money, Floyd's demands became ridiculous and came out with "Pac must joing TMT and give me some fights before I'll consider fighting him". Along with "I'll never fight Pac as long as he's associated with Arum". Funny because just a year prior Floyd claims he was trying to negoiate for a fight with Pac despite Pac being signed with Arum.

As it stands, Top Rank is willing to put on fights with any promoter whether it be Main Events, Dibella, and now GBP. Shaefer, Floyd, and Haymon have isolated themselves and refuse to do business with TR, GBP, and HBO. So who does it seem like is adding fuel to this cold war fire????

Lets also not forget about how all the Floyd fanatics were all pro GBP right until Shaefer and Floyd jumped ship. After that it was "F that coke head Oscar, etc..." The Floyd fanatics dislike Arum because Floyd dislikes Arum. No other reason.
Well there are a lot more variables that you may have unintentionally left out with regards to the cold war because in fact, the majority of fans don't have all the answers as to what caused this situation. I think both parties have played their part in this debacle but to play the devils advocate, one would ask what stopped Top Rank's willingness to collaborate before this point. On the outside looking in, it seems that they never give until their back is against the wall and then at that point, they agree to do things that were proposed years ago. I want to see these parties work together, but a lot of posters are ignoring Top Rank's stubbornness and only pointing at the other guys only because they're always willing to agree to something that was brought up years ago, right now. It's like "forget the past, let's talk about right now!"

So Floyd should agree to fight Manny for free? Yet Floyd is wrong for offering 40 million? Then the word afraid is thrown in there. All in all, Manny rejected drug testing when the fight was at his highest peak, the 2nd negotiation the mediator called out Arum on lying. When Floyd was going to jail, Manny was calling him out saying he would fight him in jail and Arum said they were going to take the May date. When Floyd gets jail time pushed back, all of a sudden a cut needs to heal and a stadium needs to be built. Floyd offers Manny 40 million ( a good start to negotations), yet Manny rejects it and says he will fight for free.

Pretty much. Both groups has die hard groupies that cant think with their brain. Its just sad we didnt see that fight when both was in their prime. But the question Hectari asked makes alot of sense. This cold war, alot of groupies are happy with it. They see no problem with it, when actually it is ruining the sport. When Oscar said he will do anything to stop that cold war BS, the split came and than all of a sudden Arum and Oscar are bad for boxing. LOL Anyways all I want is great fights to be made and myself I think the May-Pac fight will never happen and if it does happen for me it is too late. **** this cold war. I want the best fighting the best.

In 2009, I was so hyped for the fight, eager to see it. That was the last time I wanted to see a certain fight. Now i just watch the fights that happen in the ring. You get your feelings hurt if you hope and wish for a fight and it does not happen, hence why we are still talking about this 5 years later.
