I'm with you. It's the dumbest logic(if you can even call it that) that there is. The fool was negotiating in 09 when the fight almost happened to work with Arum. Now all of a sudden he don't want to!? And that's all of a sudden ok!?

Man that's not true at all. Floyd was making nowhere near that amount when he fought for Arum so there is no way Bob owes him that much. I remember reading somewhere it was in the ballpark of a couple hundred thousand, but even that may be a stretch

The cold war started when HBO chose Chavez Jr/Martinez (which was the bigger and much more signficant fight over Canelo/Lopez. Shaefer caught a tantrum and took gbp over to showtime vowing to not do business with HBO anymore.

After Pac/Arum accepted Floyd's terms of drug testing and taking less money, Floyd's demands became ridiculous and came out with "Pac must joing TMT and give me some fights before I'll consider fighting him". Along with "I'll never fight Pac as long as he's associated with Arum". Funny because just a year prior Floyd claims he was trying to negoiate for a fight with Pac despite Pac being signed with Arum.

As it stands, Top Rank is willing to put on fights with any promoter whether it be Main Events, Dibella, and now GBP. Shaefer, Floyd, and Haymon have isolated themselves and refuse to do business with TR, GBP, and HBO. So who does it seem like is adding fuel to this cold war fire????

Lets also not forget about how all the Floyd fanatics were all pro GBP right until Shaefer and Floyd jumped ship. After that it was "F that coke head Oscar, etc..." The Floyd fanatics dislike Arum because Floyd dislikes Arum. No other reason.

There are many documented quotes of Pac saying that he'll take less money to make the fight happen. What was Floyd's response?....."He's desperate because he owes the I.R.S money!"
