Saying Crossfit 'Advocates' poor form is incorrect, but it's cross fits emphasis timing and competition where form goes out the window!

If you were told to do 50 push ups you'd do it fine with good form, but if you were told to do it in a minute, or placed against another person then naturally you'd speed up,and your form would suffer, that's where Crossfit is neglecting proper form!

The statistics are there close to 40% of its participants or 'athletes' get injured, sometimes extremely seriously! Kevin Ogar, one of CF's most prominent athletes was competing in the Crossfit games, doing squats neglected form and severed his spine!! Videos on youtube and it's nasty!
