I don't know....if Algieri was able to box that well with one eye, and Ruslan cant shut his eye again, it could be even harder for Ruslan to win. I like Ruslan too....he has come from a tough place back in Russia but I think he needs a style that he can work with, like Rios, or someone with less movement and activity.

I hope Ruslan does not get into the habit of judging the fight by who went to the hospital. Rope-a-dope was a good short-term strategy, but definitely not a good strategy for the long-term. Proving you can take a punch will always win fans, but it won't always get you victories. That being said; why was the champ fighting in the opponents backyard? Why was Arum so confident that Algeri could win, and nobody else was (including Freddie Roach)? I'm just sayin'.

I lost respect when he said nothing Bradley did hurt him. With the amount of swelling he had it must of hurt a little. Ruslan loses another fight and says the same thing. His future opponents should ridicule him about his lack of skills after giving him a boxing lesson.

Provo viaKO was the smart pick. Most had never seen Algeri. I had only seen him once. I knew he would outbox Provo at times. But I also knew he would have to stay on his bicycle the entire fight, which is extremely difficult to do. Which is why I thought Provo would stop him late. Algeri's conditioning is off the charts. But I also think he did some good body work that went unnoticed and hits a lil harder than people think. And that slowed Provo's pressure enough for Algeri to do what he had to do to win the fight.
