Provod needs to learn how to fight against other styles. Everybody does'nt fight the same way or right in front of you. Provod lost this fight because he's one dimensional with a trainer that can't teach *****.

Ruslan only has himself to blame. He waited and waited when he should have been throwing and throwing. I have zero sympathy for him.

Provo would lose a rematch IMO. He lost to a man he clearly hurt whom had one eye for almost half the fight. Provo did nothing to change the pace of the fight or press the issue and it's likely because Algieri hits harder than he's given credit for. If his shots did not hurt, Ruslan would have walked right through him but he was unable to do so because 1. he was being outboxed, and 2. in the process of being outboxed he was getting hit with shots that kept him modest. Id rather not hear the excuses about styles and motivaion in the ring, and id much rather see the man climb in the ring and do it. I don't believe he can beat a boxer as skilled and esp as lanky as Algiei. I think he's like 3 - 4 inches taller and has a couple inches reach advantage at least.

I'll take Algieri in a rematch. That win elevated him. He'll be more confident, experienced, and if he fights in his hometown as the champ he'll have a hard time losing on the cards. Ruslan has peaked. He won't do anything more than he did the first fight.

Provodnikov underestimated him, Algieri fought with a closing eye. The fight should have been a draw IMO and Provodnikov retains his title. And Algieri's narrow win doesn't suffice for generating any real interest in a Pacquiao fight. Why would anyone not want a rematch? Because of some ****** reason no doubt .

im ok with a rematch but i wouldn blame ageiri for not doing it right away when that happens its starts being if anyone beats a highly promoted fighter they have to beat them twice i dont like that

It was a close, entertaining fight so why not? I don't mind seeing a rematch.
