Nah, TBA has been in some rough fights lately, I'm hoping he retires.

So what? Rigondeux didn't turn pro till 29 and spent over 2 years building himself in the pros before he had his first meaningful fight. Now look at him. GGG turned pro the same age as Loma and he took his time building.

He showed he has the talent to compete at a championship level, he just needed that little bit of extra experience. He doesn't have to drop down to the level of Gary Russell's past competition, but he could fight some more guys like Jose Ramirez level

It would teach Top Rank not to be idiots when matching up boxers who have no pro experience. Even Rigondeaux was moved slower and he by all accounts is the best amateur to debut for a very long time.

How are you gonna use other people's success to measure what Lomachenko can do? Rigo is a much better fighter than Lomachenko. And GGG still fighting bums. If he loses to Russell Jr he will always be known as the guy who lost to the TBA destroyer.

In the words of GGG "are you serious?" I didn't use others success to measure what Lomachenko can do. Maybe you missed the point of my comment, I gave you examples of two guys with long amateur experience who started late in the pro game (similar to Loma) to show you that other people began developing their careers as late or later than him. I never said Loma would have the same success as them or anything close to that, I just showed that he's still young enough to develop to as a pro.

If that happens, he will have to build his pro career from bottom up just like everyone else.

Idk why he got a free pass really. Even rigo had at least 10 fights. Ggg had a bunch of fights and he had a lot of am fights too. If he loses he better not get a title shot for a while.

He's going to lose. He's not ready for Russel.

People forget Russell is extremely talented. The joke is he's tough Nothing but TBA's, but that doesn't mean he isn't any good.

It's Loma's own fault for being arrogant enough to think he can do something no man has ever done before in history (win a title in two fights). He'll be forced to rebuild and start like everyone else does.
