    What if Loma loses?

What if Russell beats Lomachenko this Saturday? How will being 1-2 affect Loma?

Then he's done. No one will take him seriously.

As much as Russell Jr is ridiculed here, who would take Lomachenko seriously for losing to him?

Lomachenko can then go back and build a traditional career. He is still damn young and has tonnes of talent, he just needs to be brought along normally and with patience

That's a little much. Obviously he will have to take a step back in competition for the time being and be better developed in the pro game before competing again for a title. But I think everyone recognizes that this kid is a special case, it's different if he lost 2 in a row and has been fighting pro for 5 years, this is only his third fight. If he loses this one he obviously was rushed too quickly and would have to take a more traditional route back to the top

How long is he gonna be rebuilding for? He's already 25.

1-2 will not be the end of it. He will have one more chance at it after. C'mon now, no shame in losing to head butt Salido and hype man Russel Jr. You can still go on to be successful after that.
