For all you pure boxers, if Ruslan didn't get robbed then Castillo DID get robbed.

The fights are different, but the logic is not consistent.

If you disagree, you disagree. I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm fulfilling my "agenda" as you would say.
To be clear, when I said you had an agenda I only meant that you had a specific reason for picking that fight and then I explained why I thought the two fights were different. But again, you are sorta not realizing that the ONLY reason Ruslan won big on one card, and the scores were close on the other two were because he scored those two knockdowns. Theres a difference between Floyd being up early for winning 5 rounds and Ruslan being up early just based off round 1.

I honestly didn't think the tide changed for Ruslan til about round 3 it even 4. I really didn't notice him slippin til round 6 and up. I thought he was in quite control of things until atleast round 4, giving him atleast a 4-5 point lead goin into the second half of the fight, where he atleast won the 12th round.

My initial point (since I got into with a lot of Mayweather fans about this, since they tend to side with the "pure-boxers") is that there logic is flip floppy.

I see, and I bet money you arent alone on that opinion, but I saw it different and you can bet the bank countless others saw it differently aswell, maybe some saw it as a back and forth neck and neck, but MY point is that almost everyone can agree it wasnt a robbery but rather preference, but with the Floyd Castillo fight, theres plenty of people who do consider that a robbery, based off that alone the two fights are just different. Floyd and Manny fanactics dont apply logic or reason when they state their arguments, you should know better when dealing with those two groups lol.

I feel it. It's all for conversation ( and arguements) sake anyways. I don't sign out with hard feelings. I usually sign out laughing.

Sports are boring without debates and opinions anyway, but I like to use logic whenever I decide to give my two cents, I noticed its damn near impossible to engage in debates with the Mayweather and Pacquaio fan clubs, and I agree I find myself amused seeing the lengths the two groups would go to prove a point to themselves and others.

I would like to hear you guys out..
You do realise that punch stats don't automatically spread out across a fight, and the rounds, evenly?

If someone lands more punches, it doesn't mean they did so across the fight. They might have landed a majority in two big rounds, and still clearly lose the fight.

You have to look at the fight in question, not just apply broad statements of supposed 'logic' because in the sport of boxing that isn't logical at all.

I understand. And you can also land less punches in a round and still win the round, correct ?

yes, that's possible when you have a kd...

the score could be 10-8 or 10-9 for a single kd...

no that's not correct. if you land 9 haymakers and make your opponent zab judah dance but he lands 10 algeri punches your opponent gets the round. it's called boxing not slugging!

Algeri didn't Judah dance after the first round.
