Purely amateur analagy.... Just hating is all it is. Waited all these years for a fight that you could compare to that to justify your "claims" that Castillo beat Mayweather? Weak..

I think he landed less punches than compubox says. Now I realize I said I don't pay attention to it but I meant was rather I don't let punch stats influence how I score a round.

Isn't that how Floyd "beat" Castillo in fight 1?

Couldn't Provodnikov do the same thing?

Why is it a horrible analogy?
Your obsession with mentioning Floyd in relation to the fight past Saturday is whats disturbing. Theres way more accurate(and recent , I might add) analogies that made more sense, like Figueroa vs Belmontes for example. Castillo didnt drop Floyd two times in their fight, and you're failing to realize or mention that the two knockdowns are the only reason the fight was even close on the scorecards to begin with in Ruslans favor.

You also have a problem reading, because I clearly said "Mentioning Floyd in relation to this fight past Saturday" Its weird that you picked the Castillo fight as an analogy when theres much more recent examples you could have used, thats why it comes off as just a cheap shot at floyd and a weak attempt at that.

I used it because the majority of the people that disagree with me can relate to that fight very clearly. Most are die hard Mayweather fans, if I used Belmonte vs. Figueroa (which I also believe Belmonte won myself) the people I was trying to get through to would not have made the corrolation.

Oh so you have an agenda then? The two fights are completely different(IMO) they couldnt be more different actually. In the Mayweather Castillo fight, Floyd clearly won the first 4-5 rounds and after that Castillo woke up and gave Floyd hell, no knockdowns btw, if the judges found atleast ONE round from 6-12 to give Floyd, the fight is still in his favor, its not crazy to think a judge found a round to give the other fighter. In the Ruslan fight, he scored the two knockdowns in round one which was an uphill battle from the start from Chris but after round 1 he arguably controlled rounds 2-12 with some rough moments here and there, now some thought Chris deserved it, some thought Ruslan pulled it out, but the general agreement amongst MOST media or fans is that the fight wasnt a robbery.. It all depended on preference and how you chose to judge the fight coming in, you can make arguments for both fighters, its nothing like the point you are trying to make which is that Floyd Mayweather unquestionably lost the Castillo fight.

My agenda is the logic should remain the same across the board. Nothing more, nothing less.

If Provodnikov got beat by going up early and losing more rounds on points then Mayweather should lose going up early and losing more rounds on points.

The fights are different, but the logic is not consistent.

If you disagree, you disagree. I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm fulfilling my "agenda" as you would say.
