I've got nothing against Algieri but I was hoping Provodnikov would get the benefit of the doubt on Saturday, there were a few close rounds and he had the big 1st round to give him a cushion. Still, as a fan of the guy I was hoping him following Algieri around the ring getting jabbed was a plan to wear him down, but it turns out no, he was just getting outboxed for a lot of the fight. If not for a 10-7 round I think Algieri had it comfortably.Comment

He's exaggerating it but his points are spot on, just need to be dialed back a bit, i.e. wasn't the worst robbery and Algieri won more than 3 rounds but it was clear he took the punishment through more rounds and thus shouldn't have won.Comment
