  • Comments Thread For: Bryant Jennings Trains in Las Vegas For Mike Perez

LAS VEGAS, NV - Gary Shaw Productions and Antonio Leonard Promotions heavyweight contender, Bryant "By-By" Jennings (18-0, 10 KOs), has set up training camp in Las Vegas for two weeks before his upcoming WBC title elimination bout against Mike Perez (20-0-1, 12 KOs).

Jennings, who hails from Philadelphia, PA, left home for two weeks to avoid the distractions that go along with training near family and friends. In the biggest fight on his career, he chose Las Vegas, to train in high elevation for a couple of weeks, before returning home to finish out camp. [Click Here To Read More]

Is this the same Mike Perez that put the guy in the coma last year?
If it is Jennings is in for his toughest fight yet, no more cab drivers.
Jennings chin is questionable, He's been put on his ass before but the judge called it a slip.

Perez KO'd Magommed, but something went wrong early. Mago was complaining of damage from a blow I did not see. Perez piled on the points after that, but the damage was done. Jennings has a better style than most and looks to be a better match for Perez. This should be good.

Magomed actually willed his way to the final bell. I still don't know how he did it but he did not get KO'd. Magomed was a true warrior that night.

My mistake about the KO, but the damage was early in the fight.

Perez has power but Jennings seems durable. He has a huge reach advantage over Perez, is more mobile, and a better all round boxer. I think he will use those attributes to win this by ud.

              Awesome fight,awesome card.

I go with Perez by KO or points.I like Jennings, but Perez I think is a tougher man and just as good a boxer,if not better.Jenninhs has reach and conditioning,s he will be highly dangerous as the fight will be highly competitive.I see Jennings fighting like USS did against Adamek in rematch when he knew Goral could and was hurting him.

Geale to lose on points,do NOT expect to see Geale come to fall over,he is coming to win, unlike the other bakers, cabbies and cobblers.

Time for these young American heavyweights to take the division back. These funny talkin' sum-b1tches have had the division too long and its been killing the sport.

I wonder which Perez shows up for this fight? Will it be the one who dominated Mago, or the one who was flat and drew with Takam? Maybe this is a pick em fight. Should be a great battle whichever way it ends up.
