what top middleweight did cotto beat to get his shot at martinez?

      to answer your question:

stevens, macklin, proksa, were all well within the top 30. many of the middleweights in the top five, and even the former champion have ducked golovkin.

Also he'll get no credit for anyone he beats. Geale already being written off as a bum

geale's definitely not a real talent, but he is one of the top 5 MW in the world right now. so was matt macklin. stevens was in the top 10 in a couple of different ranking en******.

none of these guys are anything to write home about, but golvokin is f#cking destroying them.

cotto beat delvin rodriguez to get his MW title shot.

Cotto is Cotto, he didn't have to beat anyone so get a title shot his Resume speaks for its self.

stevens, macklin, proksa?????????? Please tell me you are joking right?

Mathew Macklin had lost 2 of his last 3 fights before facing GGG, and one of those losses was to who you consider a shot Martinez.

Curtis Stevens may be the only one he gets a little credit for beating, but even that Stevens record is a little suspect due to the fact he faced a lot of no name opposition in his tko wins.

Gregorz Proksa?????? Who is that? Any ways in his last 6 fights he has lost 3, 1 of the losses against the Snake...lol

Shot or not Shot Martinez was the lineal Champ and Ring Magazine champ. Take it how your sour ass wants to take it. Cotto got his shot and took advantage of it, because he is Miguel Cotto.

GGG is a talent but must earn the elite fight. Even if Cotto has lost, GGG has yet to fight anyone with the Resume of Margarito, Judah, Mosley, Martinez, Pacman, Mayweather, Quintana, Clottey, Malignaggi, Corley, Bailey,Torres. Cotto Ducks no one!

It makes no sense when people are like "Who has GGG beaten"

Well give him a damn chance why dont ya.

Oh yeah Roach, you HAVE seen GGG in action.. at your OWN GYM.

If knowledge is correct, Genaro Hernandez didnt HAVE to give a shot to the talented young Floyd Mayweather but he did.. and Floyd put on a damn clinic for the #1 spot at SFW!!

Golovkin would almost certainly beat Cotto into a fine paste. That fight will never happen, and Cotto's fanboys will just pathetically try to claim Golovkin doesn't deserve it rather than admit the truth.
