Non sense. You don't score fights like that.

And I could even see your point if Ruslan was even landing anything. He went rds where nothing clean landed. He went rds where he had 10-15 seconds of success and go touched up the rest of the time.

How does that win a fight...

I don't even know why I'm arguing. Provo sucks. Always thought he did, and win or lose I feel justified in that statement now.

If the fight happened in Europe, Ruslan would of got the nod and quite rightfully so but he choose to defend his title in America and got the wrong end of the deal for doing so...

Admirable but ****** nonetheless another reason why Euro fighters need to take their world titles and defend it in Germany, boxing doesn't belong solely to the USA.

not to mention before the fight arum was talking about wanting to make algieri vs pacquiao, which makes the decision look even more controversial.

If Mayweather clearly won against Maidana then how could Algieri clearly be the outcome winner against Ruslan?

Power punches count for more than jabs.

Their is no consistency kept with scoring fights, one second its you need to take the title from the champion which was evidently the case when Maidana fought Mayweather because he clearly landed more punches and controlled the temp of the fight yet wasn't awarded.

I'm not the only one who doesn't immediately count style over substance in a fight, I see.

Really? Since when? Do you have to land a certain number of jabs to equal one power punch?

I had it a draw... Provodnikov landed the more effective punches, but he sure did get outboxed like how Bradley did him.

Props to Algieri for staying in there after that vicious KD on the first.
I disagree that that was the only time he got hurt. His knees buckled a few other times when Provo landed, especially that one time right before the bell, Algieri pushed the referee in the way on shaky knees.

I had it 114-13 Algieri, this could have went either way. But I thought Algieri was the busier guy and landing more. I always thought this was a trap fight for Provo.

Horrible scores. Neither fighter won that many rounds.
