"Ruslan Provodnikov deserved decision over Chris Algieri say 54 per cent of boxing media"

and you have posters claiming it was a clear win for algeri

Meh. Boxing media is full of blow hards just like this site. It's not like when I think of boxing media, I think Stan Van Pelt or something. I think of ****ing Ellie Sechbach.

The majority of fans, who I should remind you don't appreciate a style like Algieri's had Algieri winning.

Either way Provo sucks. He's an espn level fighter. Their is nothing to his game but coming forward and throwing short hooks that can't possibly land unless the guy stands still. He's the moreone dimensional then Rios IMO.

I thought it was close. I'd like a rematch but Ruslan was too sour afterwards, whining about Algieri's style.

Don't have a problem with anyone who thought either guy won or if it was a draw.

                  Provodnikov 115-111.

Rounds 2, 3 and 4 were the closest rounds I can recall.

Its not about Algieri's style. Its about how hard the punches were and who did more damage. And in that case, clearly Ruslan had the edge. And a lot of people score fights that way, and honestly, its probably the correct way, especially in the pro game.
