This will be a boxing match that will be fought on the outside; just like Lara and Canelo's past fights. I don't believe Canelo can change his style overnight for one and he doesn't have the stamina to maintain relentless pressure over a 12 round fight.
canelo has fought different on many occasions, you probably havent seen enough of his fights, he has fought other slick boxers and approached the fights on different ways... specially early in his career...

Canelo HAs to be aggressive in this fight IMO because Lara will not come forward. I don't know if Canelo can do this, because it's not his nature to come forward. He likes to counter punch, so it will be interesting if he has learned from the Mayweather fight, and understand he needed to make more chances against him which he didn't, choosing to box.
Real interesting fight, bro. I'm hoping Canelo is as good as his word, otherwise this match might be a little disappointing. But if Alvarez brings the fight to Lara, this could be a great bout. Landy holds back 90% of the time. This is possibly the biggest fight he'll ever have. I think he understands this. I'm expecting Lara to be up to the task.

You have footage of the 2 Miguel Vazquez fights?

And he boxed Tyner. The other one's you listed were against stationary targets so I don't really need to address those.

Canelo is not a pressure fighter. He's a boxer/puncher that likes to sit back and counter.

i downloaded the second fight, you can google it ... did you watch the tyner fight?, he didnt fought the same way he did vs trout, or at least that is my point of view.. also mosleys nephew was a good fight if you can find it... he also fought a good prospect in telemundo but i cant remember the name at the moment...
anyways come fight night you wont see canelo trying to outbox lara, from his own words he said he will be more aggressive than the angulo fight...

Canelo will attack the body early ,everything else will follow.

Like Ive said before, if Canelo comes out aggressive like he did vs Angulo he will be hitting air and gassing fast. He is NOT hitting Lara in the middle of the ring and he isnt very good a pressuring/cutting off the ring.

So what is he gonna do?

If he starts trying to outbox and "outsmart" Lara like he said he would. The

Victory dance will start in round one.
