Win or lose, the Marquez fight only enchanced Manny's legacy and even gave him a huge benefit over his future oppponents. He gave them the impression that he was left handed happy which is mostly the case. This got his future opponents soley concentrated on that left hand. Look what happened to them? ****, Morales believed he could outbox Manny again in the rematch, look what happened? I think Marquez is a lot easier than he looks and Manny was just caught in a bad situation. He was less mobile which was noticeable(dollar socks he says), and he also mentioned he injured his left hand after the 2nd or 1st round. I don't know about that one though he wasn't throwing it like he usually does. I think in a rematch, all he has to do is swarm Marquez with his shots from all angles. Marquez seemed to **** himself whenever Manny charged into him. It was when Manny slowed down to a snail's pace as Marquez only operates, so that he could use his boring ass counter punching style to get Manny. It was Manny that made the fight interesting, not Marquez. Just remember that.Comment

I scored the first round 10-7 for Pac obviously.
I scored the second round for Pac.
I scored rounds 3-9 for Marquez.
I scored 11 for J.M.M.
I scored 10 and 12 for Pac
And you just scored similarly to the old judge: 10-7 instead of 10-6.
I guess Pac got beaten to a pulp eh?Comment

No, that is NOT the purpose. I just wanted to discuss something.

The parrallel between Pacquiao and Trinidad is limited. Pacquiao is more Roberto Duran, in that he brings a hell of a lot of spirit to the fight. Tito never really outwilled his opponents, he used his technical savvy to wear down his opponents. Pacquiao just keeps coming.Comment

You can't really compare the Marquez situation to BHop and Winky. If you can recall in that fight with Pac, Marquez was very much in a more offensive stance and he paid the price in the first round. Marquez was more aggressive than he usually does(in the entire fight) because he needed to erase those three knockdowns and he got tagged with a lot of left hands from Pac. If Pac would be embarrassed just like Tito did, it would come from an American boxer, not Mexican.Comment

Pac got his ass so taken by JMM that JMM is running in fear from Pac. You know that for every knockdown of JMM, he had to win a round? It became nearly impossible for him to win... and he didn't by most peoples; accounts.
