nah he didnt flip flop in the post fight commentary, i just finished watching it again. he said this...

"i may be in the minority but i feel he took some heat early on, couple knockdowns, but he recovered and even with a damaged eye the kid showed up tonight and proved to the boxing world you don't have to be the biggest or the fastest but you have to believe in your abilities and chris did that tonight"

i get what you're trying to do, bro, believe me. i'd run the prince down, too, if he beat up our carl.
nah i dont mind ward as a boxer myself but i always hear people complaining that he's boring and dirty etc, and that he has no fans.. as far as "beating up carl" there was only one round in that fight on the official cards, if two judges give carl one more round the fight's an official draw.. go check the scorecards.. ward clearly lost the championship rounds, he was hanging on for dear life lets be honest. but i had him winning the fight overall, by a couple rounds.

the one thing i hated about ward though is that he is a hometown whore cos none of his super 6 fights were outside america and the whole agreement was that all fighters would travel to each others countries. ward was literally a diva in that tournament and it was a "b!tch move" i find hard to forget..

I still find his commentary just like his fighting style to be dull. Roy is a million times better.

turn off that awful, biased british commentary, and watch the end of that fight again.

jim watt and his flunkies are the reason that ridiculously false rumor is spread. go watch that fight again. i watched and scored it very recently to son a few brits. ward lands the cleaner punches in 11 and 12.

two of the official judges gave froch round 11 and one of them gave him round 12.. i dont think they were influenced by jim watt and his flunkies..

i gave froch both 11, 12.. he had ward struggling pretty bad, fighting to survive and looking a complete mess.

Ward fighting style is intricate and complex -- one can't fight the way he does only from talent and without brain. Besides, Ward is one of the very few top guys who can express in words what he is doing and what others are doing in the ring.
                Paulie is another one.

I thought Weisfeld was perfectly fair. He flat out said that it was a difficult fight to score, he explained why he was scoring it the way he did, and basically said he didn't have a problem with someone who had it completely different.

Lampley is almost comedic tbh. Max is ok. Roy is good at analyzing but I just can't help but notice him ALWAYS rooting for the black guy when it's an American vs a foreigner.
