    Why the double standards?

People really make me cringe on this site, wtf and how do you score a fight based on what? who you want to win or landed punches or what? Ruslan obviously scored the harder, cleaner, punches, but algieri staed on his bike and outboxed him. But people forget this is a fight not a style contest, who would you rather be at the end of that fight? Algieri was running for his life and had 1 eye, if the fight was 15 rounds how would he continue?

personally I only watched it once and I think ruslan might have won by a point but he took his foot off the pedal. IDK im torn between the 2 and need to sit down and watch it again but from what I saw live, a fight, I think Ruslan won the fight but Algieri won the boxing match. Wasn't not that long ago where when a boxer would choose to box instead of fight then the loser wouldn't be exposed but simply lost on "points" idk man i really don't know. The people who say Danny beat Herrera or Maidana beat floyd should be the same people saying Ruslan beat Algieri. SO WHY THE FCK ARE THERE DOUBLE STANDARDS?

Truthfully, you should take your own advice and watch the fight again. Ruslan was landing heavy blows but they were few and far between. Chris out punched him and whether you think they were/weren't as telling as Ruslan's they were scoring effectively.

I had ruslan builiding an early lead,, i thought chris won the 2nd round clearly, and the rest i shaded to ruslan, but after 6 rounds, ruslan was useless in there and chris boxed his ears off, and ruslan won 1 round in the 2nd half, maybe 2... I had it 6 rounds apiece with algieri dominating the 2nd half, but those knockdowns give the edge to ruslan...

lol I didn't hear kellerman say that me and my buddies were super excited because the fight was really close and it was an exciting fight. It was one my buddies who asked that so maybe he got it from kellerman idk, but I really feel provo pulled it off. Its not like he was popping ruslan's head back or anything they were simply pity pat punches and he did what he had to do to stay busier and outbox him but it was a fckng fight not an amateur one, its professional prize fighting

People just need to see it as it is. Algieri was fighting for his life. He could not have saved his life any other way other than quit. He scored on points.

In the end it's all about the judges. Same guy who scored on points would lose to different judges. Broner vs Maliggnaggi was a shining example.

How about removing your emotions and being honest and unbiased, you will enjoy the sport a lot more. I am not talking directly about the TS either I am talking IN GENERAL. I find that fans get caught up way too much into this Countrymen, Race Pride and a Bunch of other CRAP that has nothing to do with Boxing and plays NO determining factor as far as who wins

This has ruined Forums like and this mostly only happens ONLINE because in person at fights and at fight parties people are enjoying the fights and no excuse are made after the fight. Robbery is screamed but literally anybody on this forum when "THEIR GUY" lose instead of just admitting defeat and giving props to the other fighter.
