On Saturday night, undefeated Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) secured the biggest win of his career. Algieri got up from two knockdowns in the first round, and overcame a closed right eye, to win a twelve round split decision over heavily favored Ruslan "Siberian Rocky" Provodnikov to capture the WBO junior welterweight championship in an HBO televised main event from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Two judges scored 114-112 for Algieri and the third had it 117-109 for Provodnikov.

this makes no sense at all. algeri won rounds 2-9? judge realized he went temporarily insane so he gave the last 3 to prov to make it look better. another judge had algeri winning 5 out of the first 6......

algeri did zero in the 12th yet one judge gave it to him, oh what a surprise if he hadn't the fight would have been a draw. oops or in judges language good job
