Just because Algieri beat Ruslan does not mean he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Adrien Broner has a clear path back to championship gold. People gonna hate on this, but this is the truth. Broner whoops algieri. Algieri can get it, because AB is the Can Man, Anybody can get it. Africans, Americans, Mexicans, Dominicans. Anybody can get it.

Algieri would be a fresher version of Pauli, but not sure if he is as good of a ring general as Pauli.. I think if broner let's his hands go and stays busy he should be able to beat chris.. But if broner has low punch outpoint like he sometimes does, chris would be able to rack up the points and win a decision..
I really think it comes down to if broner let's his hands go or not

On one hand Ruslan would mow Adrien down and possibly kill him ala Maidana, on the other hand Broner VS Algeiri is harder to predict.
I haven't really gotten a feel for Algieiri's style. I need to watch his older fights and a lot of you probably do as well.

He really focuses more on fighting like Floyd than he does on fighting like himself. He started to fight like Floyd i think when he fought Vicente Escobedo.

To be honest I can see Broner trying to take that direction as he needs some hardware to try to make a mega fight happen (possible Pacquiao showdown he asked for). I know he doesn't want to fight Danny Garcia (IIRC he said so in an interview on SHO), so that leaves Peterson or Algieri. Chris Algieri seems more favorable for Broner, as Algieri lacks power (8 KO's in 20 wins compared to 16 KO's in 32 wins for Peterson).
I still don't know much about Chris Algieri, so I can't say confidently who would win but I definitely wouldn't be surprised to see Broner win impressively. Would be nice to see Algieri win another upset though.
