Hahaha as soon as I saw the title of the thread, I guessed Weltschmerz would be in here hating. And I was right pretty funny

Why is modern day boxing full of so many tw*ts - I guess every fighter who turns professional - guess what I wonder if I could take a big fight to Dubai it's what I've always wanted. Haye just admit it - it's all about the money and I guess your Buddy Khan will be on the undercard. I hope it's a decent opponent because you always seem to get these fake injuries when you get a decent opponent.

Haye is the best HW on the planet not named Klitschko.. Or he was.
If he still has his speed he can beat anyone except Wlad.. He would not have beaten Vitali either.
But against anyone else.. I would put my money on Haye.
He can make for some fun fights and even more fun build ups.. But he reminds me of a Footballer(Soccer player) in attitude.
He is more interested in celebrity than boxing.
The irony of course is that boxing is his ticket to celebrity.. If he doesn't box he isn't a star.

Haye's always going to be a draw.

He is rated and respected by a small portion and rubbished and ridiculed by a larger one (a lot of which is deserved of course).

Fact is he is one of the best CW's of all time and one of the best HW's of recent times. He can potentially bring a lot of excitement to the HW division. Very few former CW's have been able to step up and start whacking around the big guys like Haye did. He combined the unusual features of blinding speed, brilliant evasive reflexes/movement and savage power.

Sure he did not perform against Wladimir as almost all have failed to do but really, he did probably better against Wladimir than anybody has done in the last 10 years. And Wlad can equally be blamed for making it a somewhat boring fight. I think that fight was a highly skilled affair personally, a high level fencing match.

I hope he does come back, anybody he fights not named Klitschko would probably be destroyed. Tyson Fury is lucky Haye got injured otherwise he'd be irrelevant right now. He did him a favour.

I mean didn't he already whack Wilder around in sparring like he was a rag doll?
