I was pulling for Ruslan. With that said if you believe Ruslan won that fight you should close your account on this forum and never watch boxing again. And it was very refreshing when the judges, or at least two of them, had the right guy winning.

These judges in Boxing anymore just out think themselves. Guys at ringside said Provos punches all night sounded like bombs coming off Algie. Look at that guys face; he took the beating of his life, and many at the fight said this thing should have been stopped after 8 rounds; they all said Algie needed a KO to win. If love to see how those fools scored round 1 just for giggles. Two knock downs should read 10-7 on all three scorecards. If the read 10-7 on all three, Provo wins the fight, even though it's still not as close as those scorecards would have read. Judges are becoming a joke in boxing.

I thought Algeria won. It reminded me of the garcia herrea fight a lot but Algeria is solid better than all three. Trust me. But roach even said this would be a tough fight. He knew fight was close. Herrera won 9-3 in my book over Garcia. Provodnikov won 115-111 here.

The fix was in. Provodnikov didn't cross over after beating Alvarado so he's expendable. Algieri has an all American look. Don King couldn't have orchestrated this any better. This win means interesting possible fights for TR. HBO is desperate for an American star at this point.
